to TSgt Brannen Parrish an IMA on active duty with AU Public Affairs.
19 May 2010 Commanding General of the Afghan Army Air Corps visited Air University.
26 May 2010 Maxwell AFB conducted a base wide simulated active shooter exercise. It was the first exercise
of what was intended to be a series of three exercises per year in the wake of the Ft. Hood
shooting in 2009.

24 Jun 2010 The Commission on Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accredited Air
University at degree level V, enabling the University to offer the Ph.D. in Military Strategy.
