Tony SMiTh served as a distinguished and accomplished employee at Ernst & young for 40<br />
years until his retirement in 2010. in 1983, he became a partner, serving as a client service partner,<br />
an area industry leader, a department head, an area managing partner of assurance practice, and<br />
an area professional practice director over the next 27 years. in 2005, he founded and led the<br />
South American Capital Markets Center in São Paulo, Brazil. Even after his retirement he remains<br />
involved with Ernst & young, providing consulting for the E&y Brazil Capital Markets Center.<br />
Smith says about his professional success: "What has contributed most to my success is my<br />
experience at <strong>Ball</strong> <strong>State</strong> combined with the experience in the military during the Vietnam Era.<br />
Both changed my life. Then, you combine that with the passion to succeed and a wonderful<br />
spouse, and you have a recipe for success. i did what i did with a <strong>Ball</strong> <strong>State</strong> bachelor's degree<br />
and have dealt successfully with individuals that hold advanced degrees from highly prestigious<br />
institutions. i was very well prepared."<br />
Smith is currently serving as secretary of the Board of Trustees of the <strong>Ball</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>University</strong><br />

GEoRGE BACCASh has been a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 14 years. he is a<br />

and is on the FiCPA Board of Governors. he has over 37 years of tax consulting experience and<br />
has been a business and tax advisor to senior management in various industries and corporations.<br />
Baccash led a transformation team for PwC to create a team-based learning environment within<br />
the firm. Baccash also serves on the Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and acts<br />
as treasurer of the American Businessmen of the Gulf. he is currently leading an effort to create a<br />
unique curriculum through <strong>Ball</strong> <strong>State</strong>'s Department of Accounting in the income tax area.<br />

2,000 workers at 56 stores and 3,300 specialty retailers. Ray provides the board of directors with<br />
an in-depth knowledge of products, industry, challenges and opportunities, and he communicates<br />
management's perspective on important matters. he is a board member of the Riley Children's<br />
Foundation in indianapolis.<br />

companies. he performs valuations of businesses, intangible assets, derivatives, and various other<br />
instruments, including securities in complex capital structures. Chamberlain speaks nationally on<br />
valuation topics to professional and industry organizations and has authored several articles for<br />
professional journals. he is currently serving on the AiCPA Valuation of Private Equity Securities<br />
task force, which is rewriting the AiCPA practice guide valuation of privately-held-company<br />
equity securities issued as compensation.

John SCUDDER is an issues and appeals associate at Jones Day and is a member of AiCPA.<br />
Scudder has written three articles published in the harvard Law Review and has won two appeal<br />
cases on behalf of pro-bono clients in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. he has<br />
recently assisted with Vera Bradley's transition from a private to public company, and prepared the<br />
company's first annual and quarterly filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. he is a<br />
member of the <strong>Ball</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>University</strong> Department of Accounting's young Alumni Advisory Council<br />
and is a Junior Achievement volunteer.<br />

RiChARD WiTTGREn is a senior manager at BKD with more than 16 years of experience<br />
with the not-for-profit and public sectors. he has performed and supervised numerous audits and<br />

in accounting requirements for alternative investments, auditing student financial aid <strong>program</strong>s,<br />
the FASB not-for-Profit Advisory Committee, and various other technical topics. Wittgren also<br />
serves as technology coordinator for central indiana’s not-for-profit and government team. he<br />

MEGAn REED is a manager in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s advisory practice. She has more than<br />
seven years of experience providing business risk consulting and audit services to companies<br />
primarily in the insurance industry, including internal audit co-sourcing, internal controls<br />
consulting, and regulatory and risk strategy consulting services. Currently, Reed serves as the lead<br />
engagement manager for two of the top 25 insurance companies in the U.S., overseeing the D&T<br />
resources across multiple geographies and serving as the day-to-day interface between the client<br />
stakeholders and D&T project teams. in addition to her client service role, Reed was accepted<br />
into D&T’s Management Development Program and currently holds an internal role supporting<br />
the D&T U.S. insurance Sector leadership team.<br />
