After classification, the next phase was to characterime the clansem.<br />
Two approaches are pwsible:<br />
1 A more detailed study of the indicator attrimtw appearing in the<br />
hierarchical key.<br />
2 The acquisition of more ecological information from further map<br />
sources, with regard to soil, natural vegetation, agricultural Uses,<br />
.... etc.<br />
Such additional data were added to the results of the analpsi@ a d it<br />
becme evident that the classification could be confidently described<br />
to the fourth level (16 classes). The descriptions of the land cluues<br />
given below are based on the attributes at fourth level.<br />
