anteriorly, lateral margins tapering to a deeply excavate apex defined by rounded distolateral<br />

projections.<br />

Antenna 2 half body length; flagellum <strong>of</strong> 36 articles, much longer than peduncle.<br />

Maxilla 2 with 3 subequal lobes. Maxillipedal endite with 1 coupling hook, apically with<br />

7 short simple spiniform setae <strong>and</strong> 9 plumose setae; 3 plumose setae on anterior face;<br />

without setae at lateral base <strong>of</strong> palp. Maxillipedal palp twice as long as proximal portion<br />

<strong>of</strong> basis; article 3 mediodistally lobed; article 4 ovoid, with mesial setae only; article 5<br />

free, oval. Epipod with excavate oblique apex.<br />

Pereopods sparsely setose; pereopods 1-3 propodus with 2 palmar spiniform setae;<br />

pereopods 4-7 with 1 palmar spiniform spine; pereopod 1 propodus with about 20 pectinate<br />
