This project runs a healthy living day centre for<br />

homeless single people aged 18-65 yrs. The<br />

centre provides accommodation and benefit<br />

advice, a healthcare surgery and subsidised<br />

lunches, as well as training in budgeting, cooking<br />

and independent living skills.<br />

This project redistributes surplus fresh foods<br />

(from retailers and supermarkets) to homeless<br />

projects. It also delivers to low-income groups. It<br />

works work with a team of volunteers, roughly<br />

half of whom have been homeless themselves.<br />
