This is a multi-disciplinary project involving a<br />

midwife working with vulnerable groups to<br />

provide antenatal outreach, to reduce the<br />

number of low birthweight infants. The midwife<br />

promotes good nutritional practices, including<br />

meal planning and budgeting.<br />

A small, community project which distributes<br />

food parcels to the socially disadvantaged and<br />

people on low incomes. Recipients are identified<br />

through social workers, health visitors, church<br />

and community members. <strong>Food</strong> parcels are made<br />

up and distributed to those in need.<br />
