A technical fog security course
leads to happy customers
Since PROTECT A/S was established in 2001, we have
held courses for dealers selling our fog cannons.
The purpose of the courses is – and always has been – to
train fitters in the correct dimensioning and installation
of our products. The courses result in higher quality
installations, ensuring users of the cannons secure and
reliable burglary protection systems.
It is a requirement on our part that PROTECT dealers
attend our technical course, which has been the case
since 2001. In 2009, when the EU standard for fog security
came into force, it became an official requirement
for all fog cannon manufacturers. Today, we hold technical

their high technical relevance. Each course ends with
two tests.
Sales courses and general courses
In addition to technical courses, our dealers are able to
book free, customised sales courses of 1-3 hours’ duration.
On request, we also arrange information courses
for groups of, for example, insurance experts, property
technicians, security managers from the public chambers
of commerce, business networks, the police and
the fire service.

Course content – technical course
On our technical courses, we alternate between handson
training with the cannons, product demonstrations
and theory. The programme naturally includes breaks,
and PROTECT A/S also serves lunch. The course ends
with a practical and a theoretical test which must be
passed before we can issue a course certificate. Our

Practical information
Our technical courses are all-day courses starting at
9.30 and lasting until about 15.30. Unless otherwise
informed, the courses take place at PROTECT’s head office
in Viby J near Aarhus. Attending the course is free
of charge for our dealers – for other participants the
charge is DKK 1,995.00. PROTECT serves lunch at the
course as well as refreshments.
The course ends with a practical and a theoretical test
which must be passed before we can issue a course
certificate.
