10. Protection : - Power pack should be equipped<br />

with protection circuit to protect from :-<br />

• Over Charge<br />

• Over Discharge<br />

• Over Temperature<br />

• Over Current<br />

• Short Circuit<br />

• Reverse Polarity<br />

Accessories a) Intelligent Charger with<br />

AC Adaptor & appropriate<br />

cable to charge the power<br />

pack within 4 to 6 hours. (As<br />

per requirement)<br />

b) Intelligent Charger should<br />

have following features:-<br />

polarity (input or output), low<br />

input voltage, battery<br />

temperature, charging capacity<br />

and time overrun.<br />

d) Internal temperature sensor<br />

and temperature controlled<br />

automatic cooling Fan controls<br />

the internal temperature and<br />

provides intelligent protection.<br />

e) LCD/ LED screen to provide<br />

rich information including<br />

active mode, current, voltage,<br />

total charge (mAh), charging<br />

time and temperature etc.<br />

f) For Lithium-ion batteries:<br />

balance charging, normal<br />

charging, fast charging,<br />

storage, discharging, extdischarging,<br />

charge/ discharge<br />

cycling and battery monitoring.<br />

g) For NiCd/NiMH batteries:<br />

charging-auto, chargingmanual,<br />

discharging, charge/<br />

discharge cycling and forming<br />

charge.<br />

h) Trail- Tech female lockable<br />

co-axis connector with two feet<br />

long coil cord.<br />

i) Trail – Tech male lockable<br />

co-axis connector with two feet<br />

long coil cord.<br />

Board will check practically by<br />

overcharging, over discharging,<br />

over temperature, Over current<br />

short circuiting and connecting in<br />

reverse polarity to power pack and<br />

there should be no harm to power<br />

pack in this condition.<br />

a) Board will check charger, adaptor<br />

and its cable physically. Power pack<br />

to be connected to charger and it<br />

should be fully charged with in time<br />

as shown.<br />

b) Board will check practically<br />

connecting battery to Intelligent<br />

charger in reverse, low input voltage<br />

and there should be no harm to<br />

charger/battery.<br />

d) Vendors / supplier will produce<br />

certificate to B.O.O in this regard.<br />

charger having LCD/LED display<br />

and displays active mode, current,<br />

voltage/total charge(mAh), charging<br />

time and temperature etc.<br />

f) Board will check practically that<br />

charger having balance charging,<br />

normal charging, fast charging,<br />

storage, discharging, charge/<br />

discharge cycle and battery<br />

monitoring provisions/ indications for<br />

lithium batteries.<br />

g) Board will check practically that<br />

charger having provision of charging<br />

–auto, charging manual, discharging,<br />

charge/discharge cycling and<br />

formatting charge for NiCad/Ni Mh<br />

batteries.<br />

h) Board will check it physically and<br />

practically.<br />

i) Board will check it physically and<br />

practically.
