APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Complete, sign and date the application form (Please TYPE your application, use single-sided sheets, and do not staple any of
your documents.)
Application Deadline: Applications and all supporting documents postmarked by February 1 will receive priority review. Applications
received after February 1 will be considered on a space available basis. The Admissions Committee will not review an application until all
supporting documents are received. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all of their documents are submitted before a
decision will made on the application.

For LL.M. applicants ONLY: LL.M. Credential Assembly Service (CAS)
To save you time and money, we highly recommend that you use the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) Credential Assembly Service to collect,
authenticate and distribute your university records to each of the participating law schools to which you apply. We will provide priority review of all
applications utilizing LSAC’s service, which will result in an expedited admissions decision. You must register online at www.llm.lsac.org, pay the
registration fee of $185 and submit your transcripts and TOEFL scores one time to be distributed to law schools of your choice. Registration for this
service is valid for a period of five years and includes five free law school reports. If you have registered for LSAC’s LLM CAS please provide your LSAC
account number. If you decide to use this service we strongly suggest you register before you submit your Graduate & International Programs application.

Applicants using the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) LL.M. Credential Assembly Service should forward their official TOEFL test scores

SECTION 6 – FINANCIAL SUPPORT INSTRUCTIONS
University Requirements
□ If you are self-sponsored, the University requires your bank statement(s) in English, with the $USD amount. The total for a
single participant must equal or exceed $70,204 USD.
□ If you are sponsored by an organization, you must include a letter on your sponsoring organization’s letterhead, signed by a
representative of your sponsoring organization, which specifically states the amount of financial support to be given (at least
$70,204 USD).
□ If you are sponsored by an individual, you must include an affidavit of support, signed by that individual, which indicates
their relationship to you (e.g. relative, friend) and specifically states the amount of financial support to be given (at least
$70,204 USD). In addition to the affidavit of support, you MUST also submit your sponsoring individual’s bank statement(s) in
English, with the $USD amount. See attached Affidavit form.
□ If you plan to use your own funds to supplement your sponsor’s support, please also include with the above materials a
copy of your bank statement(s) in English, with the $USD amount. The total amount from both sponsor and individual must
equal or exceed $70,204 USD.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID
USC Law School offers limited financial assistance to international students. A small amount of scholarship assistance based on
merit is awarded to outstanding applicants. Very qualified applicants should submit a brief letter requesting scholarship consideration
when applying to the LL.M. Program.
USC requires that international students have sufficient funds to cover travel to and from the United States and tuition, fees and
living expenses while attending USC.

The $75 application fee is non-refundable. Please see below to pay by credit card, or you may send a check or money order in
US currency (please do not send cash), payable to “USC Law School” with your application to USC Gould School of Law.

Request that your official test scores are sent to USC. The institutional code for USC is 4852. Applicants using LSAC-CAS
should request that your official test scores are sent to USC and to LSAC. LSAC’s institutional code number is 8395.

Transcripts and degree verification documents must be submitted in their original language with a notarized official English
