<strong>Application</strong> Deadline: <strong>Application</strong>s and all supporting documents postmarked by February 1 will receive priority review. <strong>Application</strong>s<br />

received after February 1 will be considered on a space available basis. The Admissions Committee will not review an application until all<br />

supporting documents are received. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all of their documents are submitted be<strong>for</strong>e a<br />

decision will made on the application.<br />

To save you time and money, we highly recommend that you use the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) Credential Assembly Service to collect,<br />

authenticate and distribute your university records to each of the participating law schools to which you apply. We will provide priority review of all<br />

applications utilizing LSAC’s service, which will result in an expedited admissions decision. You must register online at www.llm.lsac.org, pay the<br />

registration fee of $185 and submit your transcripts and TOEFL scores one time to be distributed to law schools of your choice. Registration <strong>for</strong> this<br />

service is valid <strong>for</strong> a period of five years and includes five free law school reports. If you have registered <strong>for</strong> LSAC’s LLM CAS please provide your LSAC<br />

account number. If you decide to use this service we strongly suggest you register be<strong>for</strong>e you submit your <strong>Graduate</strong> & <strong>International</strong> <strong>Programs</strong> application.<br />

SECTION 6 – FINANCIAL SUPPORT INSTRUCTIONS<br />

University Requirements<br />

□ If you are self-sponsored, the University requires your bank statement(s) in English, with the $USD amount. The total <strong>for</strong> a<br />

single participant must equal or exceed $70,204 USD.<br />

□ If you are sponsored by an organization, you must include a letter on your sponsoring organization’s letterhead, signed by a<br />

representative of your sponsoring organization, which specifically states the amount of financial support to be given (at least<br />

$70,204 USD).<br />

□ If you are sponsored by an individual, you must include an affidavit of support, signed by that individual, which indicates<br />

their relationship to you (e.g. relative, friend) and specifically states the amount of financial support to be given (at least<br />

$70,204 USD). In addition to the affidavit of support, you MUST also submit your sponsoring individual’s bank statement(s) in<br />

English, with the $USD amount. See attached Affidavit <strong>for</strong>m.<br />

SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID<br />

<strong>USC</strong> Law School offers limited financial assistance to international students. A small amount of scholarship assistance based on<br />

merit is awarded to outstanding applicants. Very qualified applicants should submit a brief letter requesting scholarship consideration<br />

when applying to the LL.M. Program.<br />

<strong>USC</strong> requires that international students have sufficient funds to cover travel to and from the United States and tuition, fees and<br />
