<strong>April</strong> <strong>14</strong> - <strong>20</strong>, <strong>20</strong>13 <strong>is</strong> <strong>National</strong> <strong>Library</strong> <strong>Week</strong><br />
and a time to acknowledge and embrace the<br />
important role that the Pasquotank-Camden<br />
<strong>Library</strong> plays in educating, informing, and<br />
entertaining the citizens of Pasquotank and<br />
Camden counties.<br />
Th<strong>is</strong> year's theme for <strong>National</strong> <strong>Library</strong> <strong>Week</strong> <strong>is</strong> "Communities Matter @ Your <strong>Library</strong>",<br />
which reinforces the fact that libraries are trusted places where everyone can gather to<br />
reconnect and reengage with each other to enrich and shape the community and<br />
address local <strong>is</strong>sues. Beginning Monday, <strong>April</strong> 15th, the library <strong>is</strong> celebrating with a weeklong<br />
series of programs.

BOOKMOBILE DAY
The library will host a "Thank You Day"<br />
celebration from 10 am to 4 pm. The staff<br />
will give gifts for the children and a special<br />
bookmark for adults with a smile and "thank<br />
you" for their support of the library on<br />
Monday, 15th, Tuesday, 16th, and Friday 19th.
The children's librarian will give a tour<br />
and read stories to the parents and<br />
children from Kids-N-Play nursery on<br />
Thursday, 18th.<br />
The information service department will<br />
give one on one help to patrons who need<br />
ass<strong>is</strong>tance with online employment<br />
websites (i.e. CareerBuilder,<br />
Monster.Com, and Resume Builder) on<br />
Wednesday, 17th.
To promote reading the children's librarian will v<strong>is</strong>it:<br />
Northeastern Community Development Corp -<br />
Elizabeth City on Monday, 15th, ECSU's G. R. Little<br />
<strong>Library</strong> - Tuesday, 16th, and Northeastern Community<br />
Development Corp. - Camden on Friday 19th.
