Prize for Mamluk Studies
Mamlu≠k Studies Review will award a cash prize of $1,000 annually for the best
dissertation on a topic related to the Mamluk Sultanate submitted to an American
or Canadian university during the calendar year, beginning in 2004. To be considered,
dissertations must be received before December 31. Submissions should be sent

In the event no dissertations are submitted, or none are deemed to merit the prize,
