This <strong>Lamborghini</strong> is Super Rare Being Only 1 of 186 Ever produced!!<br />
Here is very rare barn find! It is a two owner <strong>1970</strong> <strong>Lamborghini</strong> <strong>Espada</strong> <strong>Series</strong> 1 400 GT that has been parked since<br />
1980. The car is 100% complete and is in need of a complete restoration. It is a solid, original blue plate California<br />
car and still has it's California pink slip. The car was parked in 1980 after the second owner got caught and arrested<br />
for driving 150mph on a southern California freeway in the car. It has been in storage for the past 29 years and is<br />
first time it is being offered to the public for sale. This is a super rare and desirable <strong>Lamborghini</strong> as there were only<br />
186 <strong>Series</strong> 1 <strong>Espada</strong>'s built in the world and who knows how many are left. This car restored has a NADA book value<br />
of $141,000 (low retail) to $235,600 (high retail) and the best part is, it's selling to the highest bidder at No Reserve!!<br />
When this car was introduced 1968 and was the fastest 2+2 four seat car ever produced with a top speed of 155 mph and 0-60 in under 7 seconds.<br />
The car is powered by a huge 325hp V-12 engine with 6 twin-throat Weber <strong>Car</strong>bs and backed by a 5-speed gearbox. The <strong>Series</strong> 1 also wore true knock<br />
off Campagnolo cast magnesium alloy wheels which were also used on the Miura. This car still has all five wheels which includes the spare. This is<br />
car number 7260 and has been out of circulation so long it is not even in the <strong>Espada</strong> registry yet. The car also shows 49K kilometers which converts<br />
to 30K miles which I believe are original miles on the car!!<br />

This <strong>Lamborghini</strong> has a very solid body and for the most part is totally rust free. As it has spent all of it's life in<br />
Southern California so it is very solid. The floors are completely rust free. The only bad spots on the car are some<br />
bubbling on the corners of the lower rocker panels, corners of the doors and the corners of the rear quarters. These<br />
spots are not very bad at all and are places that hold water. Everything is pictured in the ad here. Also this car has<br />
never been in an accident and is straight as an arrow. The only damage on the car is a spot on the hood and the<br />
bumper, which happen when the car was being pushed and it rolled away and hit a pole. It would not take much to<br />
make this a beautiful car again as it all there and complete. All the original glass is good on the car except for the<br />
windshield which is cracked.<br />
The black interior is in overall good condition with the exception of the dash leather being weathered by age. The
interior and all it's components are still there and complete. It even has rare factory air conditioning which looks to<br />
include rear air also as there are a/c vents in the back seat. Under the rear hatch, the spare wheel and tire are still<br />
there. Even the original jack and tool kit is still there. The interior in the car is decent but should be redone to make a<br />
show car!<br />
Mechanically, this <strong>Lamborghini</strong> has been parked since 1980 so it would need to be checked over by a <strong>Lamborghini</strong><br />
tech before attempting to start it. I would have tried myself but I know nothing about the workings of a V12 and would<br />
not want to damage anything in the engine trying to start it. The engine has oil in it and under the hood is totally<br />
complete. After being parked for 29 years the brakes, cooling system, etc would all have to be checked over and<br />
gone through. This would be one fun car to drive!!!<br />
All in all, this is a super rare find for any <strong>Lamborghini</strong> or exotic car enthusiast looking to add to there collection.<br />
This is a project car that would be very easy to restore and well worth the time and money to put into it. These<br />
unmolested, early Italian sports cars are impossible to find and this is a perfect example of one right here selling at<br />
