<strong>FACULTY</strong> <strong>CATEGORIES</strong> AND CONTRACT SPECIFICS<br />

A. <strong>Faculty</strong> Emeriti. <strong>Faculty</strong> who retire and who have seven or more years of service with the <strong>University</strong> are<br />

given this status. <strong>Faculty</strong> in this category generally do not teach. In the event that they do, they are given<br />

adjunct contracts (See XV.D for specifics.)<br />

B. Full-Time <strong>Faculty</strong>. <strong>Faculty</strong> in this category are eligible for three-year contracts and normally teach 26<br />

instructional units annually.<br />
