Greetings in the name of our Lord.
As we see and hear the news of the
world today it seems as if just about
all is negative. Everywhere we turn
there is trouble. Nations against
nations, leaders against leaders, parents
against children, children against parents and
the list goes on. The only peace we will ever find
is in the Lord and the church is our only haven
in this world. Oh, how we need each other.
So in the midst of all this turmoil we must relish
every opportunity to "assemble ourselves
together" because the return of our Saviour is
near. As we gather from all parts of Virginia to
our State Convention, we can turn our thoughts
to the worship of the Lord and unite ourselves in
the pleasing of Him only.
No doubt this will be the last convention some
will ever attend, but think of the reward for the
faithful soldiers of God's army that have won the
victory. We are getting ready to leave this world
and only the "Spiritually Anointed" blood bought
saints will go. In a landmark message by Peter
in Acts 10 : 38 he said, "How God anointed Jesus
of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power:
who went about doing good, and healing all that
were oppressed of the devil; for God was with
Him". In verse 44 we find that “While Peter yet
spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all
them which heard the word". It would seem that
perhaps this same anointing on us should give
the same results. After all, we are to be like Him
and He is our great example. Let's leave this
convention with a fresh anointing!!

throughout the years.
Through your generous

received by churches and at
the Spring Youth Retreat,
not only have the Summer
Camps been sponsored, but it has allowed them to purchase
tents, sleeping bags and generators.
Virginia Fire Teams
Fire Teams are spreading rapidly. Teams have traveled
throughout Virginia during 2009-2011 holding crusades,
rallies, and special events. Be a part of worship, drama, dance
and more. Applications available at the Missions Booth.
