General Information<br />

Lunches will be served at the restaurant “En Plein Ciel” which is located on the top floor of the hotel<br />

with a beautiful panoramic view of the city.<br />

Urgent Messages<br />

Urgent messages for delegates can be directed to the registration desk. Messages will be held at the<br />

registration desk for collection and the recipient will be notified via a notice board.<br />

Internet Access<br />

Complimentary wireless internet access is available for the duration of the conference at the conference<br />

venue.<br />

Mobile Phones, Pagers & Laptop Sound<br />

As a courtesy to presenters and colleagues, please ensure that all mobile phones, pagers and sound from<br />

your laptop are switched off during the conference sessions.<br />

Extra Tickets for the Social Activities<br />

Delegates will receive at registration their tickets for the social activities (see p. 9). Tickets are to be<br />

displayed at each event. If you have misplaced your tickets or have not received them, please contact<br />

the staff at the registration desk.<br />

Additional tickets are available for purchase subject to availability at a cost of<br />

• e 30 for the Welcome Reception.<br />

• e 20 for the Beer Tasting Event.<br />

• e 100 for the Conference Dinner.<br />

Conference Parking<br />

The Hotel has a large availability of parking spaces located within their premises. These parkings are<br />

not free. Please ask the reception of The Hotel information in this regard.<br />

No Smoking Policy<br />

Delegates should be aware that smoking is banned in Belgium in all public buildings, restaurants, bars,<br />

and public areas in hotels.<br />

Money<br />

Belgium’s unit of currency is the Euro. Coins have values of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50 cents, e 1 and e 2.<br />

Notes have a value of e 5, e 10, e 20, e 50, e 100, e 200 and e 500. Foreign currency can easily be<br />

exchanged at banks and exchange counters (bureau de change), for example at the airport.<br />
