Camp Application
Clinicians & Instructional Staff – Mark Ford, Camp Coordinator
International programs.
Eligible Participants
This camp is open to high school students who play battery percussion instruments in drum line. This includes students
going into their freshman year in high school.
Instruments
The camp does not provide instruments, sticks or mallets for students to use during camp. Students should contact their
school to borrow the equipment needed. You will need a drum, marching carrier, sticks and optional instrument stand.
June 11 th Registration and Check-In
Registration will take place between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 11 in the Traditions Hall Dormitory Living
Room. Students will be able to put their belongings in their dorm room at that time.
Auditions
On-site auditions will take place in the Murchison Performing Arts Center beginning at 10 AM on 6/11. Participants need
to take their drum/carrier/sticks to the Murchison Performing Arts Center. Follow the signs outside the dorm.
Auditions will include standard warm-up exercises and rudiments that will place each student in sections based on
technical ability and experience. Adjustments can be made if determined necessary. We try to keep students from same
