the Philadelphia Inquirer, on Monday,
refers to two of Ocean City's old and
and William' (more familiarly known
aa "Uncle Benny'•') Chew, a» follows:
In the ramous old hunting RroundH
Thus far they hav» spent 4SOOJ00O InJ
almost exclusively. The company has
also, purchased the Cape May .electric
The operation was-begun several
months ago by Anthony M. Zane, of
Philadelphia, and Ca tain Frank ti.
steamer Republic, • • '
Aided by the city, they propose to
pave all streets, lay new sidewalks and
construct > new sewers. The company
Intends constructing a. lake for yachts
with a water, surface covering A0O
acres. Conferences with government
officials at Washington are said ta
have resulted In promises to deepen
Cold Spring Inlet so that the largest
ocean going yachts will be able to
enter the lake. Around this lake will
built cottages for yachtsmen and
their families. • . •_
It b pbnned to' build two and per-,
The Capd May citizens and public-
