Q So isn't it fair to say that
evolution as a fact is disclaimed by the Cobb
County School Board's statement that's been
placed in the textbooks?
A Not taken in total, no. If you
wanted to chop it up into little phrases, you
could make that case, but not taken in total,
no.
Q Does the Cobb School Board go to
this length having a sticker in any other
textbook about any other subject that you know
of?
A Not that I'm aware.
Q Does it go to this extent to tell
students that they should approach with an open
mind, study carefully, and critically consider
any other subject?
A Not that I'm aware of.
Q So it singles out only evolution
for that treatment?
A That's the only one I'm aware of.
Q What do you recall about the
discussion of, since you are uncomfortable with
the word disclaimer, this sticker? Was there a
discussion about it before it was voted on?
