may be sold if it is under 8 weeks of age.
No rabbit may be left in their carriers overnight in the showroom.
Shavings will be provided for the coops, but if you choose to use risers, you should bring them
with you. Bring your own feeders and water bottles or bowls. Bring your own feed of choice.

2013 Kentucky Cup
Important Things To Know
Cooping will be $2.25 per rabbit and included as part of your national show entry
fee. It is not mandatory for specialty shows or the Sunday shows. BUT any rabbits
left in carriers in the show room Friday and/or Saturday night will be moved to an
impoundment area. There will be a $2.25 penalty for any impounded animals.
This will be enforced. Cooping is recommended for those staying overnight
instead of in your vehicle. Let your breed show secretary know if you need any
extra coops.
Breed Show Secretaries must let Marge Drake know the number of needed
coops for their breed by 10:00 am EST Tuesday, April 9.
If your show is hosted by the KY State RBA please see Marge or Becky in the show
secretary area to check in. You will pick up your Exhibitor Check-In Sheets,
parking pass, banquet tickets for Polish, Mini Lop, or Netherland Dwarfs, special
goodies. You can pay for all this with cash or one check payable to KY State RBA.
For other shows, check in with the breed show secretary listed.

Entries generated by Evans pedigree program will be accepted as long as
all other information is included (need a parking pass or banquet ticket?
Need an extra coop? Your email address?).
$2.00 service fee for each ear number change after April 8 on any
pre-entry in any Specialty show hosted by the KY State RBA or
the Sunday all-breed shows.
Shows start at 9:00am EST on Saturday and Sunday unless noted otherwise on your
breed page.
You will pay a service fee of $7 for all scratched pre-entry rabbits
in a Saturday or Sunday show hosted by the Kentucky State RBA
and for any no-shows.
Bring your own feed cups and water bowls/bottles. Some feed will be
provided but we recommend you bring some the rabbit is accustomed to.
To make your cooping go faster we recommend you bring your own fine point
Sharpie marker to write the coop number in the rabbit’s right ear. We will have
some to loan but you may have to wait on someone to get finished using one.
Registrar Herman Young will be at the show Saturday and Sunday. If you wish to register any
rabbits, bring your current ARBA membership card, a complete pedigree, $6 fee, and a healthy
rabbit.
If you write for a breed, we Thank You! But please do not make any
changes to the show paperwork without approval of the show secretary.
If there is a problem, call for the show secretary. Please accurately and
completely fill out the judging sheets and note the judge’s name. Specialty

Show Rules
Boring to read but Important to know
1) This event is an official ARBA sanctioned show and is to be governed by the latest rules
of the ARBA and submission of an entry in any show will confirm the exhibitor’s
acceptance of these rules.
2) The TKSRBA nor the Kentucky State Fairgrounds will not be responsible for loss from
fire, theft, accidents, or providential destruction. Every precaution will be taken to
insure a safe environment for the exhibitors and the animals.
3) The club reserves the right to substitute another judge, in case of unavailability.
4) The TKSRBA is not responsible for any catalog errors or omissions. Check the Kentucky
State web site www.ksrba.webs.com and the FaceBook page for updates.
5) All rabbits must be permanently and legibly tattooed in the left ear.
6) All rabbits for Open and Youth National shows must be in the show room with an
assigned coop. Any rabbit entered in only a Specialty show on Saturday does not have
to have a coop but a coop can be rented for the rabbit. All rabbits remaining in the
show room overnight must be in a coop.
7) The host clubs will not be responsible for receiving nor returning rabbits shipped in.
8) Awards must be picked up the day of the show. KY State RBA will not mail these out.
9) In accordance to Kentucky state law no animals under the age of 8 weeks old are
allowed to be sold in the show room nor in the parking lot. Any violators will be asked
to leave.
10) No smoking will be allowed at any time in the show room.
11) Parents: For the safety of the animals and our exhibitors, we require that your children
be supervised at all times. You will be held responsible for any damages which occur
because your children’s actions.
12) Any rabbit showing signs of sickness or disease will be removed from the show room
and entry fees forfeited.
13) All animals must be exhibited in their natural state. Cutting of hair, dyeing, or altering in
any way is not permitted.

14) No entry payment will be refunded once the entry is accepted. Entries must be paid for
prior to the start of the show.
15) Some breeds will have runners carrying rabbits to the judging table. Check with your
breed chairman to see if you are responsible for getting your rabbits to the show table.
Each breed will only be called for 3 times. Exhibitors are responsible for getting their
rabbits to the judging tables for the Specialty shows and on Sunday.
16) Any exhibitor indicating ownership of rabbits being exhibited on the judging table,
harassing, interfering, or attempting to influence a judge will be disqualified and will
forfeit all fees and winnings.

I-65 exit 131B to Fair/Expo Center. Cross Phillips Lane into Gate 1 (main gate).
Right onto Circle of Champions and go all the way around the grounds to
Broadbent Dr. Turn left, go past the arena. Pavilion building on the left. Parking
Lot L on the right.
The Expo center can be accessed 24 hours via Gate #3 (service gate). Once you get
to Phillips Lane, turn left and go to Crittendon Drive. Turn right and go a block.
Turn right into Gate 3 then right onto Circle of Champions. Go left across the
parking lot L to Pavilion building.
Parking Passes can be ordered for $12.00 for the weekend (unlimited
entries) or pay $8.00 for each return entrance without the pass. Let
your show secretary know if you want a car pass. No pass needed for
Friday entrance. These can be picked up when you check in.
RV parking – no advance reservations needed. $30 no hook-ups; $50
with hook-ups. If you arrive late and the hook-up box for the site you want
is locked, you can call 502-367-5000. Be sure to see a traffic control
person when you arrive or first thing Saturday morning to pay for your
space.
