1- PRODUCTS WITH SPECIFIC PROPERTIES<br />

According to the Port Regulation regarding the admission, manipulation and storage of<br />

hazardous materials (RD. 145/89), specifically Article 15, it states that all inflammable<br />

liquids with an autoignition temperature below -18ºC must comply with a special<br />

authorization in order to be admitted in the premises.<br />

This special authorization includes a team of firefighters who will escort the hazardous<br />

materials until they are safely placed into the vessel.<br />

The cost of the service of this team of firefighters will be based on the length of time the<br />

hazardous materials remains within the port premises.<br />

2- SEGREGATION PLACEMENT OF CODE IMDG<br />

A minimum safe distance of no less than 10 feet or 3 meters between flammable solids<br />

(class 4.1) and corrosive goods (class 8) must be kept at all times.<br />

We will notify our client immediately about the risk that the shipping company might<br />

reject our cargo due to segregation with other goods included in the same shipping<br />

container.<br />

All corrosive goods (class 8) must remain segregated from METHIONAL (UN 2785 –<br />

Class 6.1)<br />

3. – IATA’s FORBIDDEN DANGEROUS GOODS<br />

The following dangerous goods are strictly forbidden to be sent by Air; including<br />

passenger and cargo flights, nor sent as samples:<br />

3- INFORMATION INCLUDED ON THE LABEL<br />

According to ruling (CE) 1272/2008, regarding the Classification, Labelling and<br />

Packaging of blends and substances – specifically article 17 – all hazardous goods must<br />

include the name, address and telephone number of its supplier(s) on the label.<br />

Due to this new regulation, we must inform you that from now on the name of <strong>Lluch</strong><br />

<strong>Essence</strong> will appear on the label of all of our products as the main shipper, regardless of<br />

the existence of a second shipper.
