Richie Arndt – “Train stories” – a musical recital
For generations stories of traveling, of leaving and arriving have given power and emotions to music. Lots
of stories have grown up around trains and the myths of hobos and ramblers and thus gave inspiration to artists
such as Rory Gallagher, Elvis Presley and the Beatles for unforgettable classics. Just him and an acoustic
guitar, driven by his never ending interest in music and led by his sensibility for touching stories, Richie Arndt
in his extraordinary recitals transfers his knowledge of the lifestyle of generations – and of a yearning we still
feel today: a longing for wanderlust, for closeness and for home.
Saturday, May 21 st , 11:00 h, Cafe Klausberger, Market Square, 30 m to the left of the stage. Admission free.
