Grading Cart
By weighing the mink simultaneously with
grading you avoid stressing the mink prior to
pelting.
The weight funnel holds the mink allowing the
scale to be more accurate and easier to read.
Weighing a mink takes only 2-3 seconds when
done simultaneously with grading. The mink
of the right size continue to grading, mink that
are too small can be sent directly into the
killing box. Mink are held by a neckband
during grading and weighing, allowing the
operator to capture more mink.
The grading cart can be operated by one person
catching, weighting and grading. You can also
have more people catching and one person
doing the grading. The ideal would be up to
five people catching, allowing you to grade up
to 4000 mink a day.
