Knitting Tips<br />

❖ Note: entire garment is worked with two strands of yarn held together.<br />

Right and back front, back yoke: Cast on using long-tail cast-on and knit right front in pattern<br />

stitch. To start back yoke, slip 16 stitches, then bind off remaining stitches. Knit 98 rows for back<br />

yoke, chain 67 stitches to cast on for left front, then knit left front in pattern stitch. Work single<br />

crochet (US) edging on left and right front edges.<br />

Back: Work single crochet from back yoke, then knit in pattern stitch as indicated. Work single<br />

crochet edging, then graft sides (stitches-to-rows).<br />

Abbreviations: BO = bind off; CO = cast on<br />

• Pierrot Yarns Beauty Silk Cotton [90% mohair, 10% silk; 180 yds /<br />

165m per 1.06 oz. / 30g skein]; color #11 violet brown; 6 skeins<br />

• 3.9mm (US 6) knitting needles or sizes necessary to achieve gauge<br />

• 3.0mm (US C or D) crochet hook or size necessary to achieve gauge<br />
