Each time I hear “Most Hated” ‘Thug Life’ commercial with the old skool ‘The<br />
Firm” in the background, I get to banging my chest and saying ‘let’s get it’. A<br />
classic commercial for the Thug Life Brand and very motivating to get the<br />
season started! Thug Life is where it’s at! But we must make a hard turn to<br />
backup the words we are saying. If the real appeal of fantasy football is to<br />
manage own roster and pretend that we can GM and coach a team, then our<br />
standard head-to-head leagues aren’t enough. We can’t simulate free agency,<br />
and there’s no real capology that we have to do.<br />
And this is one of the reasons why I decided to take a hard pivot in our<br />
upcoming fantasy football season. We exhaust lots of hours into this thing<br />
called fantasy football, nevertheless how do we get this close to realistic as<br />
possible. The salary cap format is the ultimate test of your fantasy football<br />
skills. Unlike draft leagues, our salary cap league put all owners on an even<br />
playing field by giving them a real salary cap, kind of how the professional NFL<br />
teams do. That means that you can only stay within a certain amount to spend<br />
for your team. So you have to come up with a strategy for how you want to<br />
spend your money. In addition, you might want to come up with sleeper picks<br />
for your team. That means finding undervalued players who won’t bust your<br />
budget. You also want to keep track of the rankings for players by position.<br />
You might be able to find a good value for a player at a particular position,<br />
without having to spend too much. The point is you have to be true bonified<br />
balla to compete in this league. No longer can you get away with waking up<br />
earlier than everyone else, picking up and dropping players with no<br />
repucussion. If you don’t want to drive yourself mad, I would recommend<br />
going back to the valley and cutting parking tickets for a living! If you are about<br />
that life, then this Thug Life 24 Team Single Player Salary Cap/Contract<br />
Auction Dynasty League is where it’s at!<br />
I’m curious to see what some owners can do in this style format. Presently,<br />
you see the same teams in each Thug Life Sports League dominating the<br />
action such Dynasty, JRock, Dem06playas; but I believe things could flip with<br />
this new fantasy experience and we will see the teams traditionally at the<br />
bottom rise to the top since we have more of an even playing field, I think!<br />
Roster<br />
You’ll have a full team of offensive players and defensive players, along with<br />
two specialists – the punter and the kicker. 53 players will make up a<br />
complete roster. Before the draft start, you’ll want to pick an offensive and<br />
defensive scheme your team will run for the year. For example, on offense<br />
you can chose to run a ProSet (2RB, 2WR, 1TE), Run and Shoot (1RB, 4WR),<br />
or choose from other offensive schemes. You can choose between a 3-4 and<br />
a 4-3 for defense.<br />
