MISSION STATEMENT
TO EMPOWER volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and
promote international understanding through Lions clubs.

THE DISTRICT GOVERNOR’S OFFICIAL VISITATION
For the district Governor to have a successful visit to your club, please follow the
following recommendations.
1.) Keep your Club’s calendar open for the date agreed upon.
2.) Please do not schedule any other guest speaker at that meeting.
3.) Plan on conducting your regular meeting and agenda, unless the District Governor
requests that he/she speak first.( In case of inclement weather or a long drive home
for the DG.)
4.) The District Governor will be honored to induct new members at the official visit.
5.) It is customary that the meal of the DG be paid for by the club. It is optional that
meal of the Partner-in- Service be paid for.
6.) Send a notice to all members of the Club that the DG will be making their official
visit. Be sure to give them the date and request that as many as possible attend.
7.) Be proud of your Club and tell the DG of your activities.

To access Reports on LCI Website
Go to www.lionsclub.org
• Click on “Submit Reports”
• Click on “Lions Officers Log in Here”
• Fill in your user name:_____________
• Fill in your password: ______________
• Click on “enter”
To Update Club Membership Report
(Club Presidents and Secretaries only)
• Click on “Membership”
• Select reporting month by using drop down arrow.
• Select membership option (add, update, review, transfer, drop, reinstate or to report
no membership activity for this month, click here.)
• Follow instructions carefully.
o If adding a new member, you need: Correct spelling of name, correct mailing
address, year of birth, correct phone and e-mail and name of sponsoring Lion.
• It will state that the report has been recorded and it will say done.
• To print the report, click on “Club”, click on “Reports” and click on Monthly
Membership Report. Specify a reporting month and year and then run report, go to
file and print.

Communications
Note that reports filed electronically can be viewed by all district officers and do not
need to be mailed by US mail; just print a copy for your records.
1 .Monthly Membership Reports should be filed on-line by the last day of every month
by the Secretary. If filing reports by US Mail, send a copy to LCI by the 20 th of the month.
2. Activity Reports should be filed on-line by the Secretary as soon as the activity is
completed. If filing reports by US Mail, send it to LCI.

6. Report of New Officers (PU 101’s) must be filed on-line by the Secretary by April
15 th . The PU101 can be found by going to www.lionsclubs.org under “Club” and
“Reports”. Those sent by US mail should arrive at LCI by May 1 st .
Bills Notices
Bills will be sent to the Treasurer and Secretary. It is a reminder to the
Secretary that the bills must be paid by the Treasurer.
Lions Club International sends their dues notices electronically twice a
year; in January and again in June – they are due by the end of January
and June.
Md-20 sends their dues notices electronically twice a year ; in January and
again in June. They are also due by the end of the month.
District 20W sends their bills electronically once a year; in June and
should be paid by the end of July.

Report of New Officers – PU 101’s
Directions for Elections for the following year.
Before elections the secretary should print a list of all member’s information and have the
members verify their name, address, phone number, email address and mailing address. Be
sure all membership information is correct on-line before submitting the PU101.
Names of officers to be elected are to be presented to the club three times and then voted
upon. Once they are elected submit them immediately.
A “PU10 Report” is a record of a club’s newly elected officers for the upcoming year. The
information for the “PU101 Report” is needed for LCIF and the newly elected District
Governor. The information is immediately used. The present Secretaries must do the
“PU101 Report” and it has to be done on the internet. As soon as your officers are in
place, fill out and submit the “PU101 Report.” Try to submit your report by April 15. The
deadline is May 15. If your club does not meet the deadline, it can not be recorded.
The new officers will get their member’s number (which is their Lion’s number) and a
password from LCIF after the “PU101 Report” is submitted.
Steps to submit your “PU101 Report”
Go to the Lions’ website: www.lionsclubs.org
Click on Submit Reports in the upper right hand corner
Click on lion officers log in here
You are now at the Welcome page.
In put your member # and password (if you have forgotten it, click on forgot password, it
will be emailed to you very quickly.
Go to Club.
Go to Reports.
Go to Lionestic Year ( remember it is for next year.)
Click on each officer, all the names will come up, click on the name of the officer. Do this
for each officer requested.
At the end, run report.
Check your “PU101 Report” to see if is correct. If not, redo the report that needs to be
edited.
