refreshment station offers a
service point at the end of the
refreshment area.
21. ON THE COURSE...
... Traffic regulations (StVO)
must be adhered to at all times, as the route
is not closed to public traffic. Every participant
rides at his/her own risk. The organizer
accepts no responsibility for accidents or any
other liability (including third party) before,
during or after the event.
... The cyclists should respect all orders given
by race officials and policemen. Undisciplined
riders will be disqualified and deleted
from the result list. Severe violations of
traffic regulations will be reported to the
responsible authorities (personal data).
... There are four refreshment stations and
one station with drinks only. For all participants
it is strictly forbidden to throw away
garbage outside the marked areas located
next to the refreshment stations. Ignoring
this rule will result in a disqualification. At
the mentioned refreshment
stations you will find a large
number of garbage bags.
Throwing away things can
have negative effects on the
continuation of the Ötztaler
Cycling Marathon
… It is strictly forbidden to
paint on the asphalt road
or sidewalk! In case of violation participants
can be disqualified and must pay the
cleaning service.
... Medical assistance is provided by the Red
Cross
... Escort cars are not recommended due
to environmental reasons and in order to
protect the cyclists‘ health and safety. Our
utmost aim is to avoid public traffic by
installing a number of detours for private
vehicles. Slow cars or escort vehicles will be
punished for obstruction to traffic by the
police. The escorted cyclist will be disquali-
