Day 1 SANTIAGO<br />

After arriving at the Santiago Airport, you will transfer to your hotel where you’ll be met by your Tour<br />

Director. Following check-in and time to freshen up, the evening is free for sightseeing on your own.<br />

Overnight in Santiago.<br />

Day 2 SANTIAGO/EASTER ISLAND<br />

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be treated to a city tour of Santiago † visiting Palacio Cousino and Los<br />

Dominicos Handicrafts Market. Pass by the Palacio de La Moneda and Plaza de Armas with a stop<br />

made for lunch on your own. In late afternoon you will fly to Easter Island. Overnight in Easter Island.<br />

Breakfast included.<br />

Day 3 EASTER ISLAND<br />

Following breakfast you’ll leave by motorcoach to explore the island’s southeast coast, including Vaihu,<br />

Ahu Akahanga, and Anakena Beach, where a traditional barbecue lunch will be served † . Your afternoon<br />

and evening are free for sightseeing and dinner on your own. Overnight in Easter Island. Breakfast and<br />

lunch included.<br />

Day 4 EASTER ISLAND<br />

After breakfast, today’s exploration of the island and its mystic moai begins at Ahu Vinapu with visits<br />

to Ahu Tahaira, the Rano Kau Volcano, and Ahu Tahai † . While you’ll have some time to venture out on<br />

your own in the afternoon, we’ll enjoy dinner at a Rapa Nui home † before turning in for the evening.<br />

Overnight in Easter Island. Breakfast and dinner included.<br />

Day 5 EASTER ISLAND/SANTIAGO<br />

Before heading to Mataveri Airport for the return flight to Santiago, you’ll visit Ana Kai and the caves of<br />

Ana Tepahu. Your final stop on the island will include the protected Polynesian gardens called manavais † .<br />

A light lunch will be served before boarding your return flight to Santiago. The evening in Santiago is free<br />

to enjoy dinner on your own. Overnight in Santiago. Breakfast and light lunch included.<br />

Day 6 SANTIAGO/VALPARAÍSO<br />

Following breakfast, a motorcoach will meet you for your transfer to Valparaíso. Before boarding the ship<br />

for your South America cruise adventure, you’ll enjoy a city tour of Valparaiso † . Breakfast included.<br />

motorcoach and intra-tour air transportation, hotels,<br />

transfers and sightseeing as indicated in the itinerary. Food<br />

at an additional cost, except as indicated in the itinerary.<br />
