Our club meetings are held at 7:00 pm on<br />
<strong>the</strong> third Tuesday of <strong>the</strong> month at <strong>the</strong><br />
American Legion Hall located at 3509 N.<br />
First Street, (North of Shields on <strong>the</strong> S/W<br />
corner of First Street & Dayton), Fresno.<br />
If you are an interested <strong>Corvette</strong> owner,<br />
we invite you to attend.<br />
1971 was <strong>the</strong> last year for fiber<br />
optic warning lights, first<br />
introduced in 1968.<br />
The only external difference<br />
between <strong>the</strong> 1971 and 1972<br />
<strong>Corvette</strong>s is <strong>the</strong> amber front turn<br />
signals and chrome plating on <strong>the</strong><br />
egg-crate grills on <strong>the</strong> 1972.<br />
A special purpose big block engine<br />
which produces 425 HP was<br />
available.<br />
Last year to order <strong>the</strong> <strong>Corvette</strong><br />
with <strong>the</strong> Muncie M-22 (Rock<br />
Crusher) transmission.<br />
