Faculty/Staff Appreciation Luncheons – Monthly
Provide food and financial support, or help serve a monthly lunch to faculty and staff.
Jay Mart Regular Shift – during the school year
Work in the Jay Mart twice per month. Contact Susan Rosenlof at srosenlof@cox.net or 402-
551-2926 if you would like to be on the schedule. No online sign up for this.
Jay Mart Special Event Sales – Occasional
Sell Jay Mart merchandise during special events, such as conferences, Open House or freshman
orientation.
Jay Mart Game Day Sales – occasionally for varsity football/basketball games
Sell Jay Mart merchandise during games.
Directory – Summer 2013
Help coordinate, proofread school directory. Help sell directory on Mini-School night.
Freshman Dance treats – July 19, 2013 (Freshman Summer Welcome Dance); September
27, 2013 (Freshman Homecoming Dance); December 7, 2013 (Freshman Christmas Dance)
Supply baked goods for dances mentioned above.
Sports Physicals – August 4, 2013
Help set up and provide donuts, juice and coffee. Take blood pressure if qualified.
Freshman/Transfer Parent Orientation – August 5, 2013
Provide and serve treats for freshmen and new students. Incoming freshman/transfer parents,
please do not sign up to help with this event so that you may enjoy it.
Freshman/Transfer Parent & Student Potluck – August 18, 2013
Serve dinner to parents and students (food provided). Incoming freshman/transfer parents, please
do not sign up to help with this event so that you may enjoy it.

Prep Moms Committees
Dance Chaperones – Welcome Dance (August 24, 2013), Homecoming (September 28,
2013), Prom (May 3, 2014)
Two 1 1/12 hour shifts per dance. A student council representative will contact you. (Not a Prep
Moms Committee.)
Mini School Night – August 27, 2013
Provide and serve refreshments.
Freshman Health Screening – September 24, 2013
Work with Prep staff and nurses to review records and conduct screens.
Homecoming – September 28, 2013
Provide treats.
Fall and Spring Retreat for Prep Moms – October 2013 TBA & March 2014 TBA
Provide food for this spiritual event that all Prep Moms are invited to enjoy. Monetary donations
are accepted to underwrite speaker costs.
Open House – November 3, 2013
Provide and serve refreshments for 7th and 8th grade families.
Faculty/Staff Christmas Cookies Gift – December 3, 2013
Bake or buy Christmas cookies to be assembled and distributed to the Prep faculty and staff from
the Prep Moms.
Freshman Advising Gender Talks – December 6, 2013
Moderate and lead discussions with freshman groups about gender issues during a portion of
community period. Suggestions and guidelines provided.
Operation Others Lunch for Workers – December 20, 2013
Donate $15-$25 to underwrite the cost of lunches for the Operation Others student workers at the
assembly warehouse.

Maintenance Crew Support – December 26, 2013 and March 2014 TBA
Provide a light breakfast for maintenance staff over Christmas and Spring Break.
8th Grade Entrance Exam – January 11, 2014
Provide refreshments and help serve pizza to 8 th graders.
6th & 7th Grade Pre-Entrance Exam – January 2014 TBA
Provide breakfast for proctors.
Mission Week Bake Sale – March/April 2014 TBA
Provide baked goods during Mission Week Bake Sale fundraiser.
Special Spring Faculty/Staff Luncheon – April 2014 TBA
Provide food, a monetary donation or help serve lunch.
S.W.A.T. Team – Occasional
On call for help as needed
Cafeteria Duty – Both shifts, first shift only, second shift only

Both shifts: 11:00 a.m. - 1:20 p.m.
First shift only: 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. (sophomores & juniors)
Second shift only: 12:35 p.m. – 1:20 p.m. (freshmen and seniors)
High School Office Assistance – Every other month
Regular commitment once every other month
