Madonna and Child, from <strong>the</strong> Abbey<br />
of St. Godelieve, Bruges, Belgium<br />
Flemish in origin, <strong>the</strong> 18th-century sculpture<br />
was a gift to <strong>Seton</strong> <strong>Hall</strong> <strong>University</strong> in 1963<br />
from <strong>the</strong> Monastery of <strong>the</strong> Holy Rosemary<br />
in Summit, New Jersey. The sculpture may<br />
be viewed in <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong>’s Art Center near<br />
<strong>the</strong> main gate of <strong>the</strong> South Orange campus.
