<strong>the</strong> comb<strong>in</strong>ed negligence <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> defendants and Sidney Odom;<br />

<strong>the</strong>n you will, <strong>in</strong> arriv<strong>in</strong>g at your verdict, first determ<strong>in</strong>e that sum <strong>of</strong> money<br />

which will fairly and adequately compensate Sidney Odom for said damages,<br />

and <strong>the</strong>n reduce this sum <strong>in</strong> proportion to <strong>the</strong> causal negligence <strong>of</strong> Sidney<br />

Odom, us<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> follow<strong>in</strong>g method:<br />
