<strong>Mikron</strong> Automation presents its latest product developments<br />
at its Technology Days in Boudry<br />
On 11 and 12 May 2011 <strong>Mikron</strong> Automation invited customers and partners to Boudry for<br />
its Technology Days. The event was an opportunity to find out more about current<br />
market trends as well as <strong>Mikron</strong> Automation’s strategy. One of the highlights was<br />
undoubtedly the unveiling of two new product developments. The first was the Pilot<br />
EcoLine™, the as-yet smallest version of the EcoLine™ automation platform, the second<br />
the new generation of control system developed by <strong>Mikron</strong>, which is based on the B+R<br />
industrial PC. Customer applications were used to give visitors live on-the-spot<br />
demonstrations of a large number of modules from the current G05™ and EcoLine™<br />
product platforms.<br />
Representatives of Uhlmann Pac Systeme, 3P Innovation and Schunk gave a series of<br />
talks on current topics from the automation sector, while the renowned ETH professor<br />
Lino Guzzella gave a highly acclaimed lecture entitled “The car of the future – the future<br />
of the car”.<br />
