Judge Means Receives
2012 Excellence in Justice Award

Texas Wesleyan School of Law was again honored to be the presenting sponsor of the Fort Worth
Business Press Power Attorneys Luncheon at The Fort Worth Club on Oct. 11, 2012. This was the
fourth year that the law school has been the presenting sponsor of the event. It is an extension of efforts
to forge lasting partnerships within Fort Worth and its legal and judicial communities. Over the years,
many of the award recipients have consistently supported the law school and university.
The law school was proud to present its coveted Texas Wesleyan University Excellence in Justice Award
to a long-time supporter of the law school, the Hon. Terry R. Means, at the conclusion of the 2012
Power Attorneys Luncheon. Judge Means has spent countless hours mentoring students, supporting
the law school’s mission, and helping the Tarrant County Bar Association.
