Conference Overview
Statement of Need
The incidence of gastrointestinal cancers is increasing
in the United States. Many of the gastrointestinal
cancers are highly treatable; with
the continual emergence of new practice guidelines
and clinically-based evidence for treating
these disorders, it is important for clinicians to
remain informed. The etiology, pathophysiology,
evaluation, and clinical and surgical management
of gastrointestinal cancers are the focus of
this educational symposium.
Conference Description
This three day international conference will
bring together leading experts in the fields of
gastroenterology and radiation oncology to highlight
advances in the diagnosis and treatment of
advanced gastrointestinal cancers.
This course is designed for medical, surgical,
