SINAMICS S150 –<br />
The converter cabinet for demanding, variable-speed<br />
single drives.<br />
SINAMICS S150 – cabinet units<br />
Because of their controlled infeed and energy recovery abilities,<br />
the SINAMICS S150 cabinet units are particularly suitable<br />
for requirements with high dynamics and speed accuracy, frequent<br />
braking cycles with high braking energies, and<br />
4-quadrant operation.<br />
The converter cabinet units are available for the output range<br />
75 kW – 1200 kW.<br />
SINAMICS S150 can be used in any application with the most<br />
stringent requirements for processes with dynamic and reproducible<br />
procedures, such as:<br />
• Test bay drives<br />
• Centrifuges<br />
• Elevators and cranes<br />
• Cross cutters and shears<br />
• Conveyor belts<br />
• Presses<br />
• Cable winches<br />
STO, SS1, SS2, SOS, SLS and SSM are available as integrated<br />
<strong>safety</strong> functions. Safety-related signals can be transmitted via<br />
fail-safe inputs/outputs, or via PROFIBUS and PROFINET using<br />
the PROFIsafe profile.<br />
The integrated <strong>safety</strong> functions are certified for applications<br />
up to Cat. 3 (EN 954-1), up to SIL 2 (IEC 61508) and up to<br />
PL d (EN ISO 13849-1).<br />
