Remote Interface
PULSe:DELay?
Query pulse delay setting. Returns a value in percent.
PULSe:TRANsition
Set pulse rise time in percent of pulse period. For example, if your pulse period is 100 ms, 5% rise time equals
5 ms. Pulse rise time is measured between the two turning points of the first transition.
PULSe:TRANsition?
Query pulse rise time setting. Returns a value in percent.
PULSe:WIDTh
Set pulse width in percent of pulse period. For example, if your pulse period is 100 ms, 20% pulse width equals
20 ms. Pulse width is measured between the two turning points on the top of the pulse.
PULSe:WIDTh?
Query pulse width setting. Returns a value in percent.
PULSe:TRANsition:TRAiling
Set pulse fall time in percent of pulse period. For example, if your pulse period is 100 ms, 15% fall time equals
15 ms. Pulse fall time is measured between the two turning points of the second transition.
PULSe:TRANsition:TRAiling?
Query pulse fall time setting. Returns a value in percent.
4-25. Arbitrary Waveform Commands
The following is an overview of the arbitrary waveform commands, how to define memory segments, how to
download data to the selected memory segment and how to output an arbitrary waveform over the remote interface.
TRACe:DEFine {, }
Assign length to a specific memory segment. The 64K non-volatile memory can be divided to 99 smaller segments.
Minimum segment length is 10 points. Maximum segment length is 64,536 points. Note that total size of the
non-volatile memory is 65,535 points however, 1000 points are reserved for the built-in standard waveform
library. The TRAC:DEF command does not change the FUNC:MODE setting. Therefore, unless you use the
FUNC:MODE USER command, TRAC:DEF will have no immediate effect on the output waveform or function.
TRACe:DELete
Delete contents of a specific memory segment. This command destructively modifies segment length to 0. Re-sizing
a deleted segment to its previously set length does not recover its data.
TRACe:DELete:ALL
Delete contents of the entire non-volatile memory at once. This command destructively modifies all segment’s
length to 0. Re-sizing deleted segments to their previously set length does not recover their data. Use the TRAC:DEL
command to delete stored waveforms one at a time.
TRACe:SELect
Select a specific memory segment to be placed at the OUTPUT terminal. The generator will output the selected
memory segment only after executing the FUNC:MODE USER command.
