Instructions for Contributors<br />
Effective in 2004, AillM increased the publication frequency of the AUTM<br />
Journal from annually to two times per year. In addition, the journal<br />
which now publishes three or four articles per issue-has moved to a topic<br />
driven format, allowing for in-depth analysis and discussion of the major<br />
issues of the day. Themes will be announced in the call for abstracts prior<br />
to each issue via the AUTMNewsletter and the AillM Web site.<br />
Submission Process: Abstracts<br />
Once the call for papers has been issued, authors are encouraged to submit<br />
the following:<br />
• an abstract of at least 300 words describing the paper and the source of<br />
information for the article (e.g., personal experience, interviews, or<br />
statistical research), followed by bulleted key points of the article<br />
• the potential paper's relevance to the theme of the upcoming AUTMJournal<br />
• a short explanation of why the paper would be of interest to AillM<br />
members<br />
• a suunnary of the author's professional background<br />
To submit an abstract, send it to AUTM headquarters via e-mail at<br />
autm@autm.net. Please put "AillM Journal abstract" in the subject line to<br />
ensure it is routed to the appropriate person.<br />
The AUTMJournal also welcomes suggestions for potential authors. To<br />
submit recommendations for potential authors, send an e-mail to AUTM<br />
headquarters at autm@autm.net. Please put "Al.J'I'M Journal" in the subject<br />
line to ensure it is routed to the appropriate person.<br />

• are well-suited to the theme of the issue<br />
