this clean-tech start-up, having marketed <strong>the</strong> consumer brand three years prior. I hired and managed a<br />

team of six to grow lotus PRO’s US distribution network from zero to 200 reps in just over one year. We<br />

built user-customizable print, web and video sales tool-chests for our distributors, successfully courted trade<br />

media, and trained reps and agents <strong>with</strong> weekly interactive webinars. Under my leadership, we quickly<br />

become <strong>the</strong> category leader over many bigger-budget competitors. Getting a Tweet from The Gubernator to<br />

personally tell us he was following us was one of our many memorable achievements.<br />

Crowbar Media Corp. (Windsor) - June 2005 – January 2009<br />

Founder & Marketing Director; Partnering <strong>with</strong> a corporate sales trainer, I built Crowbar to build harmonized<br />

in-house sales and marketing programs for small and medium-sized B2B clients. I managed <strong>the</strong> agency’s<br />

marketing department and was our agency’s lead pitch-man. After winning <strong>the</strong> high-profile competition for<br />

Eddie Francis’ mayoral election campaign (he won too) our B2B client list grew to include TI Automotive,<br />

ACT Test Panels, Madison Electric and Mobile Innovations. On <strong>the</strong> consumer side, we became <strong>the</strong> agency of<br />

record for Ducana Windows and Tersano/lotus, who I continue to work <strong>with</strong> closely to this day.<br />

McLellan Group Inc. (Toronto) - December 2002 – May 2005<br />

Director, Strategic Services; I was responsible for managing strategic marketing services for clients<br />

including Bell Enterprise, RBC Wealth Management, Smart Systems for Health Ontario Agency and United<br />

Bank of Switzerland. I was <strong>the</strong> senior account lead on major integrated campaigns involving video-driven<br />

communications, promotional materials, web pages, <strong>even</strong>ts and corporate presentations. I conceived,<br />

managed and rolled out Bell’s new Supply Chain and Retail POS digital sales programs, which produced<br />

record-setting lead acquisition and awareness numbers.<br />

Icefloe Technologies / TSX: ICE (Toronto) - February 2000 – December 2002<br />

VP Sales & Marketing; I was hired to help <strong>the</strong> IPO team <strong>with</strong> corporate identity, marketing and communications<br />

for Icefloe’s successful start-up funding and subsequent TSX listing. After co-authoring <strong>the</strong> IPO <strong>business</strong> plan,<br />

I was engaged as <strong>the</strong> executive in-charge for producing investor relations material and managing all aspects<br />

of US sales. Once initial funding was secured, I worked closely <strong>with</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>business</strong> development group to set<br />

up and oversee Icefloe’s US sales and marketing programs for our growing network of independent American<br />

distributors, while managing our in-house team of sales specialists.<br />

METEX Software / objectools.com / Wallace Wireless (Toronto) - March 1994 – Nov. 2002<br />

VP Marketing; I set up and managed start-up branding, marketing and sales systems for <strong>the</strong>se<br />

sister software companies, all engaged in selling software apps to large enterprise customers globally.<br />

I sold <strong>the</strong> objectools.com concept into a partnership <strong>with</strong> Microsoft Europe to launch our brand<br />

along <strong>with</strong> Microsoft’s new .NET platform at Tech Ed 2000. In my position <strong>with</strong> METEX, I set up multiple<br />

vendor co-marketing programs <strong>with</strong> Rational Software, successfully generating new leads and<br />

RFPs from targeted Telcos and CLECs. I helped launch Wallace Wireless by providing all branding, web,<br />

corporate identity, sales collateral and support materials, as well as user guides and help content.<br />
