Haddad, H., Lyons, G. and Chatterjee, K. (2009). An
examination of determinants influencing the desire for and
frequency of part-day and whole-day homeworking. Journal of
Transport Geography, 17, 124-133.
To conclude we reiterate a point made at the outset of the paper – working
practices continue to evolve even within the umbrella terms „teleworking‟ or
„homeworking‟. If, increasingly, people have and exercise greater spatio-temporal
flexibility in their working patterns then this introduces potentially important
consequences for patterns as well as levels of travel for transport planners to address
and poses new challenges for research to address.
