Jesus Christ: Crucifixion or<br />
Execution?<br />
It was not God’s divine and preordained will that Jesus Christ<br />
die on the cross. <strong>The</strong> crucifixion of the Messiah was an act of<br />
murder, an execution that was done by the will of others.<br />
God’s will was for Jesus to marry and have a family, thereby<br />
restoring God’s pure lineage that was lost at the Fall.<br />
It took God four thousand years to set the stage to bring to earth the first perfect<br />
man and Son of God, Jesus Christ. That preparation involved not only<br />
the purification of the Messiah’s blood lineage but also the raising up of a chosen<br />
people who would receive the Messiah when he came. Yet the Bible says<br />
that when Jesus started preaching to his own people, they did not know him.<br />
It says in John 1:11 in the <strong>New</strong> Testament, “He [Jesus] came to his own<br />
home, and his own people received him not.” Much of Jesus’ life before he was<br />
thirty years of age remains a mystery. <strong>The</strong> Bible provides scarcely any record of<br />
the life of Jesus prior to his public ministry, except for the story of his birth<br />
and a few accounts of his childhood. <strong>The</strong> revelation of Rev. Sun Myung<br />
Moon uncovers these mysteries.<br />
Rev. Moon asks the following rhetorical and controversial questions: Was<br />
the crucifixion of Jesus Christ the will of God? Was the early death of Jesus<br />
what God wanted, or was there more to be done? Could it be that God never<br />
