Mmmmm… Toasty is right!
Th e Pepperoni Prime Rib has
prime rib, all-natural mozzarella,
covered in sautéed onions
and then drenched in mild peppercorn
sauce. All together the
fl avors are just right. Th e genius
chef who created this sandwich
must be commended and maybe,
just maybe should be sitting on
a throne of royalty. Th e toasted
sandwich has meaty taste which
is amazing if the consumer is a
meat-lover. With this sandwich,
lettuce, tomato and olives can
be added to make the sandwich
a bit healthier for only $ 5.00.
The Dark Knight
Rises
Th e Dark Knight Rises is the latest
Batman movie with two familiar villains,
Bane and Catwoman. Th is movie
takes place in Gotham city where Batman,
played by Christian Bale, was said to be
done with ‘Th e Batman’ and the crime
rates increased in his absence. Batman decides
to come back due to the crime rates
and to defeat its new leader, Bane, played
by Tom Hardy. Batman gets a new sidekick,
Catwoman played by Anne Hathaway,
who helps Batman fi ght crime throughout
the movie. Th is fi lm comes out on July 20.
When someone passes Jason’s
Deli they might as well be committing
a crime because not eating
the California Club is like committing
treason. Th e sandwich
has some of the most amazing
ingredients ever, toasted croissant
with turkey breast, bacon, Swiss,
tomato, organic fi eld greens,
mayo and guacamole. If California
has sandwiches like that, then
no wonder it is overpopulated.
Th e organic fi eld green has a
nice fresh taste to the guacamole
that is slathered upon the turkey
breast. Th e California Club has a
very mellow taste, but is then delectable
when the Swiss and bacon
combine. Th e best thing about it
would be the price, which is $6.99.
On July 1, one of the biggest concerts
in town, Vans Warped Town Tour,
comes to Houston to rock out. Th e best
rock bands from around the world come
here together to perform their best songs
known throughout the world. Th is amazing
concert includes Taking Back Sunday,
All Time Low, We Th e Kings, and
many more. Th e prices range from $53
to $163 depending what row and if you
want to have chairs to sit on. Th e concert
sometimes has free giveaways and
prizes, but the concert is outside at Reliant
Stadium so it will most likely be hot.
Th e Men in Black 3 is the latest Men
in Black movie starring the same actors as
in the past, Will Smith , Tommy Lee Jones,
but there is a little twist to the new Men in
Black. Josh Brolin who plays Agent K when
he was younger, (Tommy Lee Jones) meets
Will Smith, Agent J, when Agent J travels
back in time to stop an alien from assassinating
his friend Agent K. Men in Black
will hit theaters everywhere on June 25.
Panera Bread’s Smoked
Turkey Breast
Panera Bread is like that one
little shop in the corner of a small
and quaint town that has the
most delicious handmade food
anybody can ever imagine. Th e
Smoked Turkey Breast may not
be the greasy, oil-dripping sandwich
most people love, but it is
the healthy snack for aft er school
studying. Th is sandwich has
smoked turkey layered on country
white bread that is then topped off
with fresh tomatoes, red onions,
green leaf lettuce and grazed with
salt and black pepper. Th e best
taste the sandwich has is the tangy
taste that comes from the country
miche sauce. Th is sandwich
also comes with a pickle spear
when purchased for only $6.50.
Aft er a long day at school people
need to relax so what better
way to relax than to eat? Subway
is known for their logo “Eat fresh”
and that one guy that lost a lot
of weight. In the sandwich pepperoni
and salami is laid against
the Italian white bread and pepper
jack cheese. Th e delicacy is
then toasted and topped off with
lettuce, olives and tomatoes. Th e
sandwich is fi nished off with a
hint of pure olive oil and shut
to perfection. Th e sandwich is a
delight to eat, both meats battle
for the attention of the tongue
palettes. Th e vegetables complement
each other when mixed
with the pepper jack cheese.

Subway’s Spicy Italian Lenny’s Classic Sub
Snow White and
the Huntsman
Snow White and the Huntsman
is a mixed drama and action movie that
will be coming to theaters June 1 and will
most likely stay in theaters for a while
due to the amount of people being hyped
for the movie. Th is movie is based on
a fairy tale where the Huntsman, Chris
Hemsworth, is ordered to take Snow
White, Kristen Stewart, into the woods
to be killed, but falls in love with her and
winds up being her protector in a quest
to kill the Evil Queen, Charlize Th eron.
To Rome with Love is the latest
Woody Allen movie. Allen is a director
that people have been going crazy over.
To Rome with Love is about a number of
people in Italy, some American, some Italian,
some residents, some visitors and the
romances and adventures they get into.
Th is fi lm stars Ellen Page, Woody Allen,
Jesse Eisenberg and Penélope Cruz.
Lenny knows how to make a
good sandwich. Th e Classic Sub is
a perfect mix of provolone, ham
and capicola. Capicola is a traditional
cold cut made from pork
shoulder or neck and it is great.
Th e sandwich is an actual ‘cold
cut’ sandwich which means there
was no toaster to make it toasty
warm, but nonetheless the meat
rescued the sandwich from being
boring. Th e sandwich is so much
better with onions, lettuce, tomato,
mayo, and drizzled with light
oil, salt and pepper. Th ere are not
many of Lenny’s restaurants in
town so fi nding one can be very
hard. It was delicious though, no
mess while eating it either. Th e
classic sub was simple and tasty
as far as subs go and only $7.99.

One of the rising bands of 2012 is
coming to the Woodlands Pavilion on June
24. One Direction is one of the most talked
about bands of the past couple of months
and they are hitting Texas in late June. One
Direction is the latest well-known pop boy
bands since the Backstreet Boys. Tickets
are running out fast and start at $144.

To Rome with Love
Coldplay
June 25 is the day of the year
where one of the most well-known bands
comes to town, Coldplay. Coldplay is part
of the top bands from England. Th ey have
also had several albums go platinum while
winning a few Grammies. Coldplay is performing
at the Toyota Center, where the
Rockets play, and prices are ranging from
$80 to $1950. Th is concert is planning on
selling out fast so if you want tickets, you
better start searching for a good price.

Two of the biggest country singers
hit Reliant Stadium on August 4 singing together
for the fi rst time in a while. Th ese two
country stars took a break from one another
to do their own tours, but now have reunited
to go on tour to sing their new album,
Feel Like A Rock Star. Ticket prices are ranging
from $54 to $1474 and are selling fast.
