Recomendations Frecan 108 Electronic Controls: Most of our hoods are equipped with electronic controls that provide us with a perfect control and maximum engine efficiency. Providing several hoods with features such us thermometer, timer, indicators, etc. .. LED Lighting SDA system It differs from other lamps that convert energy into heat; LED technology (Light Emitting Diodes) transforms the light energy directly into the following benefits: - Energy savings up to 80% - Increased safety (no heat generated) - Colder light, more neutral in colour creating a more pleasant environment. LED lamps are very resistant and with a very long-lasting life (up 50 times more than a standard lamp). Due to the small size of LEDs a more modern design of the lamps is created. It is a Double Aspiration System designed and developed to ensure optimum suction for wall inclined hoods such as Quasar, Kind, Fun, etc. This feature consists of an additional air inlet provided with its corresponding stainless Steel filter which is installed in the lower part of the hood body. This SDA system decreases the quantity of fumes that usually escape while cooking. Hoods provided with SDA system can work with the hood door closed while still ensuring optimum hood suction performance. Easy to replace halogens Frecan Hoods The halogens with push-pull system enable the easy replacement of the halogen bulb without removing the halogen structure. Note: Optionally the halogen light can be sustituted by a LED light.
Recomendations Stainless Steel Filters and High Class Stainless Steel Filters Most of our hoods are equipped with stainless steel filters. This feature not only enhances the beauty of the hood but ensures the durability of the filters over time. It is important to keep them clean and free of grease. Doing so assures, among other things, its effectiveness and its function of flame protection in event of sporadic inflammation. Stainless steel filters can be cleaned directly in the dishwasher, as the aluminium filters regards, Frecan recommends avoiding the dishwasher. Standard Stainless Steel Filters: Frecan standard Stainless steel filters consist of 5 aluminium filter layers plus a decorative stainless steel casing. A total of 6 filtering layers- (5 Aluminium + 1 Stainless Steel). High Class Stainless Steel Filters: High Class Stainless Steel Filters: consist of 7 aluminium filter layers plus a decorative stainless steel to sides casing. A total of 9 filtering layers- (7 Aluminium + 2 Stainless Steel). Frecan has designed this filter to hold greater amount of fat without reducing hood’s suction capacity. Charcoal Filters The system recycles the air through charcoal filters. The hood collects the smoke, which is filtered by metal filters (the first filter system), then the smoke is filtered through charcoal filters (second filter system) which purifies the air and returns it to the kitchen as clean air. This system is only recommended when the outside expulsion of the gases produced by cooking is not possible. Has to be said that this system tends to reduce the aspiration efficiency of the hood. We advise to always keep filters clean; this will ensure smooth operation of the recirculation system. Charcoal filters have to be changed at least once a year, depending on how intensive the hood utilization is. Filter saturation alarm: Flashing light that indicates when filters need cleaning in case suction hoods, and the replacement of charcoal filters in case of recirculation hoods. Delayed Switch-Off (Last Time): Once you’ve finished cooking, by connecting the last time function the hood will keep on running for 10 minutes and will automatically disconnect after recycling the air of your kitchen.
