20th Annual AAA Awards<br />
Banquet & Reception –<br />
Tuesday, April 24, 2012<br />
The American Association of Anatomists cordially requests the<br />
pleasure of your company at the 20th Annual AAA Awards Banquet on<br />
Tuesday, April 24, 2012. The Banquet—from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.<br />
at the Marriott Hotel—will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, &<br />
presentation of AAA awards. Tickets are $66 and will be available for<br />
purchase online via the AAA Website (www.anatomy.org). Tickets will<br />
not be sold on-site at the meeting.<br />
APS Social Events:<br />
The American Physiological Society will be celebrating<br />
its 125th Anniversary during the <strong>Experimental</strong> <strong>Biology</strong><br />
2012 meeting. As part of the celebration, APS will be<br />
holding a number of social events in conjunction with<br />
the meeting. APS registrants are encouraged to participate in<br />
these social events. EB attendees expressing interest in physiology<br />
are also invited to attend.<br />
The Opening Ceremony and Walter B. Cannon Lecture on Saturday,<br />
April 21 at 5:30 pm is free of charge. However, there is a charge for<br />
the following events: (1) APS 125th Anniversary Beach Party on the<br />
north Embarcadero on Saturday, April 21 from 7:00 p.m.– 10:00 pm<br />
and (2) APS 125th Anniversary Closing Party on Wednesday, April 25<br />
from 6:30 p.m.– 10:00 pm.<br />
Please sign up for these events when registering for the meeting by<br />
checking the boxes on the registration form. The charge for each<br />
event will be $15.00 in advance/$25.00 on site.<br />
Luncheon for ASN Fellows and<br />
50-Year Members<br />
Join ASn in celebrating the accomplishments and achievements of<br />
our past and present Fellows and 50-Year members over lunch at the<br />
Annual Meeting. This luncheon will follow a presentation honoring the<br />
newly inducted 2012 ASn Fellows. All members are invited to attend;<br />
guests are permitted. Ticket fees are as follows: $45.00 for Members<br />
and $35.00 for non-Members. All newly inducted Fellows will receive<br />
free registration. Additional details will be posted at www.nutrition.org.<br />

ASBMB Graduate/Postdoctoral Professional<br />
Development Program – Saturday, April 21<br />
This program will be held on Saturday, April 21, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.<br />
Event registration includes lunch: $25 ASBMB members; $35 all<br />
other EB registrants. ASBMB Travel Award recipients do not have to<br />
register for this event.<br />
Professional Development Workshop for<br />
Students, Postdocs and Junior Faculty,<br />
sponsored by the ASBMB – Tuesday, April 24<br />
This workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.<br />
Event registration includes lunch: no cost for ASBMB members; $20<br />
all other EB registrants.<br />
ASBMB 5K Fun Run and Walk –<br />
Sunday, April 22<br />
Fun run/Walk will be held rain or shine on Sunday, April 22 at 7:00 a.m.<br />
The entry fee includes a T-shirt: $25 for ASBMB members; $35 for all<br />
other EB registrants.<br />
