B.1 CLASSIFICATIONS<br />
B.1.1 <strong>Mobile</strong> <strong>Crane</strong> Employee Level 1 (MCE1)<br />
(a) Skills and duties<br />
An employee at MCE1 level may perform the following tasks:<br />
• Dogger<br />
• Counterweight/Gear Truck Driver<br />
• <strong>Mobile</strong> Hydraulic Platform Operator–up to 17m<br />
• up to 20 tonne Slew <strong>Crane</strong> Operator<br />
(b) Minimum qualifications<br />
An employee at MCE1 level must have successfully obtained the<br />
following minimum qualification:<br />
• Dogging License; or<br />
• Boom-type elevating work platform License (WP); or<br />
• Heavy Rigid License (HR); and<br />
• Slew <strong>Crane</strong> License of up to 20 tonnes<br />
B.1.2 <strong>Mobile</strong> <strong>Crane</strong> Employee Level 2 (MCE2)<br />
(a) Skills and duties<br />
An employee at MCE2 level may perform the following tasks:<br />
• 21t–60t Slew <strong>Crane</strong> Operator (C2 &C6)<br />
• Non Slew (Franna) Operator (CN)<br />
• Basic Rigger (structural steel frames erection or assembly of<br />
mobile cranes)<br />
• <strong>Mobile</strong> Hydraulic Platform Operator – 17m and up to 28m<br />
(b) Minimum qualifications<br />
An employee at MCE2 level must have successfully obtained the<br />
following minimum qualification:<br />
• Heavy Rigid License (HR); and<br />
• Slew <strong>Crane</strong> License of up to 60 tonne; or<br />
• Non Slew <strong>Crane</strong> Operator License; or<br />
• Basic Rigger ticket; or<br />
• Boom-type elevating work platform license (WP).<br />
