Introduction <strong>of</strong> <strong>Port</strong><br />
<strong>Kandla</strong> port plays a major role in the country's international trade. Having notched up a string <strong>of</strong><br />
success, it has emerged as a forerunner, and has carved a niche for itself, by its steady growth<br />
and economy <strong>of</strong> operations.<br />

We had seen on <strong>Kandla</strong> <strong>Port</strong><br />
Cranes which were unloading an loading various material into vessel<br />
We had seen magnesium getting unloaded from Chinese ship which was a Brake Bulk<br />
Cargo.<br />
We got a chance to see “OEL KUTCH” a Mumbai vessel from inside.<br />
o In it we had seen living area <strong>of</strong> crew members<br />
o Whole pantry where food and other basic things were been prepared.<br />
o Than we saw control room <strong>of</strong> ship where merchant navy people made us<br />
acknowledge with how radar works and how ship moves including the<br />
observation <strong>of</strong> maps and other important functions <strong>of</strong> vessel.<br />
o We also seen the auditorium room and other living area <strong>of</strong> the ship<br />
o We also saw container getting loaded in vessel.<br />
