Tas-Diary features a separate screen display ("page" of the diary) foreverydayof the year. Each page includesthe current date and time, a calendar for the current month, and a large area for making your diary notes. Tas-Diary is supplied on cassette for automatic transfer to microdrive cartridge. Each cartridge becomes a diary for a particular year. This means that with Tas-Diary you can create a diary not just for this year, but for every year into the distant future! You can even use Tas-Diary for past years if you want to keep "historical" data. Tas-Diary includes an automatic sort facility. This means, for example, that the list of appointments shown on the screen copyabove could have been entered in any order- Tas-Diary will sort them into the logical order shown. There is also a find facility which searches the current month in memory foreach occurence of a particular name or event. The monochrome screen copy software prints black and white high resolution screen copies in a choice of two sizes. The printed screen copy is approximately A5 in size although there is some variation between different makes of printer. The small sized monochrome copy is approximately one quarter of the large sized copy. The "grey-scale" Tascopy software prints large screen copies, approximately A4 in size. The Spectrum screen colours are printed with differing dot densities to give a shaded monochrome representation of the screen colouring. Tascopy supports all eight pin dot matrix printers with Epson type control codes. Please note Tascopy is only for use with the R5232 port of ZX Interface 1. A version of the Tascopy screen copy software is available for use with the Opus Discovery disc drive. The software prints high resolution screen copies through the Opus parallel port.
