Made in
FINLAND
For centuries, the people of Lapland
have wandered to maintain their
livelihood and lived their lives
within the walls of Lapland-style
huts. New generations have been
born in those huts, and they have
provided shelter against the frigid northern
winds. Within those walls, traditions have been
passed on from one generation to the next, and
families and friends have entertained themselves
there. We have refined the Lapland hut into a
place suitable for today’s needs, while at the
same time we have respected the traditions upon
which the huts have been built. For this reason,
we feel the only real Lapland hut is one that has
been made completely in Finland, from the raw
materials used to the production and installation
of the huts.
We manufacture all of our huts in our own
factory in Tornio, Finland. We use northern,
slowly grown, densely-grained and durable
pine as our raw material. It is a construction
material that is well-known and highly-valued
around the world. Deliveries include everything
you need, from bottle opener to reindeer skins.
We deliver and install our products on site
according to the turn-key principle. All you have
to do is lay the foundation. Our own construction
team ensures that the quality of the product is
maintained during transportation and that the
hut is constructed in place correctly and with
care.
Our quality huts are versatile. They can be
used as backyard barbeque huts, for having gettogethers,
as forest get-aways, or as rest areas
when hunting, hiking, or doing other outdoor
recreation. You can enjoy pleasant moments
relaxing beside a warm fire, whether you are
one, two or a large group. The sauna hut is
a place where you can relax in the caressing
steam; it has been constructed using the appropriate
dimensions for the size of the sauna
stove, so the steam is just right.
send us an e-mail. Let’s discuss an alternative
that’s right for you. Have a look at our products
GOOD TO KNOW
Here’s how to make the correct type of
foundation for your hut.
Cement foundation
Begin making the slab by putting a wooden peg in the middle
of the presumed slab. Attach a string 1,875 mm in length to
the peg and rotate it until you have marked all 8 sides of the
octagon shape. Use a wood measure 1,435 mm in length to
help you. NB! Check the diameter; it should be 3,750 mm.
Set an air inlet duct, made of sheet metal or plastic with a
diameter of 200 mm, into the foundation. One end should be
under the grill and the other one should be directed out of
the hut.
Construction of the hut in your yard can be included in your
order. Just ask!
HIGHLY-VALUED
RAW MATERIAL
We manufacture our huts from northern, densely-grained
pine, which is a highly-valued construction material around
the world. When wood grows slowly, it develops a dense grain,
which makes it extremely weather-resistant. We use building
timber that is 45 mm thick for the wall structures of all of our
huts, which keeps the huts standing firmly for years to come.
