And - that's not all: often necessary components like uninterruptible power supplies, hubs, routers, (console-)switchesand aLAN consoleare easily to be installed here; this is supported also by the built-in optimal cable management, allowing cost saving <strong>se</strong>rviceability of included components. The installation dimensions of the enclosure make theintegration in existing IT environments easy. Thanks to their modular design, theracks can be expanded on-site. All four models are offering the same functionality -only with different sizings and different numbers of horizontal height units behind the <strong>se</strong>cure front door. The PRIMECENTER rack family offers maximum flexibility and reliability with stackable versions, optimized cable management and high passive ventilation through-put. PRIMECENTER racks can be equipped with all standard 19-inch components and combines our known experti<strong>se</strong> in rack technology with today's datacenter requirements. As 19-inch rack technology becomes increasingly widespread, new requirements are being placed on flexibility and configuration options. PRIMECENTER racks are the basis for constructing rack configurations with all Fujitsu Siemens products, such as <strong>se</strong>rvers, operating devices and storage systems. Ba<strong>se</strong>d on the industry standards DIN 41949 and IEC 297, PRIMECENTER racks can also accommodate other products on the market that comply with the<strong>se</strong> standards. The racks can easily be expanded both horizontally and vertically and integrate into existing DP environments. In particular, the stacking concept of this rack family offers new flexibility in creating configurations with variable height units. The PRIMECENTER rack versions range from a small 12U system for office environments, to a 46U rack, or even a stacked 50U rack for data centers.
