Mikron NRG-50 Mikron NRG-50 represents the new generation of transfer machines. It introduces new dimensions in the cost efficient production. Its modular building blocks design a machine from highly productive to very flexible. Fully CNC controlled the machine allows the complete machining on six workpiece faces, from different angles. A fully modular machine which can grow with your production needs as additional working modules can be added at any time. Multifactor a solid convertable rotary transfer machine ideal for various components of pump and injection systems. Examples: nozzle body holder, spacer, sleeves, barrels, pistons, etc. Unique features • Models available with 8, 10, 12 or 15 stations • Rigid and solid machine base with a central drive for all movements, therefore highly reliable and efficient • Table indexing with a repetition accuracy of ± 0.004 mm • Mechanically driven and CNC controlled working stations • Elements of stations are perfectly modular, therefore interchangeable between themselves • Component sizes up to 100 x 100 x 100 mm References Multistar CX-24 Multistar CX-24 and Dico-18 for injector nozzles These rotary indexing table machines with 24 or 18 stations are particularly suitable for the production of nozzles. They guarantee an excellent concentricity between guide bore and outside diameter, resp. seat and sac hole. Accuracy is assured by a unique conception of a transfer machine with rotation of workpiece collet and in counter direction of cutting tool with internal cooling supply, all guided in a rigid construction. Besides, the machine can also perform in the same machining process, whenever requested, turning of outside head diameter, facing operation and automatically check depth of seat. Injector nozzles machined on Mikron Multistar CX-24 and Dico-18 are perfectly prepared for a smooth and fast grinding process after heat treatment. Production output of an injector nozzle on Mikron machines – starting from a solid blank – is from a minimum of 6 parts per minute up to 10 parts, considering normal conditions and according to selected machining process. 3
