Write a speech from McMurphy’s perspective advocat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> rights <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> patients<br />

<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> wards. Be sure to use arguments from “The Right to Refuse Treatment” and<br />

One Flew Over <strong>the</strong> Cuckoo’s Nest. Each speech must be at least 30 seconds to 1<br />

m<strong>in</strong>ute long (approximately ½ <strong>of</strong> a page – 1 page written.) You will be turn<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> a<br />
